Evelyn L. Peos, FSA is Senior Vice President and Head of the Life Insurance Business Unit for MONY Life Insurance Company (MONY), the primary insurance subsidiary of The MONY Group Inc. (NYSE: MNY). The MONY Group is a financial services organization that provides financial protection, asset accumulation and retail brokerage products and services for individual and institutional clients through several member companies.

In running the Life Insurance Business Unit, Peos is responsible for overseeing the development, manufacturing, underwriting and issue of the company's life insurance products. Currently, MONY and its subsidiaries offer whole, term, universal, variable universal, survivorship universal, last survivor variable universal, and group universal life to higher-income individuals - particularly small business owners, family builders, pre-retirees and corporations.

From 1992 to 2001, Peos served as Vice President of Product Development for MONY. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing the innovation of new products for MONY's portfolio of protection and asset accumulation products. Peos joined MONY's actuarial development program in 1978. In 1986, she was promoted to Assistant Vice President and Actuary. She was named Vice President and Individual Insurance Actuary in 1990.

Peos is a member of the Academy of Women Achievers of the YWCA of the City of New York, a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. She graduated from Dartmouth College in 1978 with a bachelor's degree in math.
